Stephen M. LaBar, Jr. founded Computer Specialist in Atlanta to address a clear gap he saw in the local IT market: businesses and individuals needed dependable, expert technology support without the cost and complexity of a full in-house IT department.

Drawing on decades of hands-on experience, he built Computer Specialist around a few core principles:
